Katarina Wit was born on 3 December 1965 from Staaken (East Germany). In her search for new experiences Witt keeps expanding and acquire new talents in the world of figure skating, as also producing, performing acting, and writing. Katarina Witt's impressive amateur career ends for now following the 1988 World Championships. In the following three years, she headlines along with Brian Boitano (World Champion, Calgary Olympic Champion) her first US as well as Canadian professional tours.
