Aurora
Aurora Aksnes (born June 15 1995, from Stavanger) is a Norwegian musician and vocalist. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of bloggers in the music industry and media. Aurora Aksnes' earliest musical memories are of discovering a piano hidden in her attic, and being captivated by the sounds it produced. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not for work or for a passion, but as an opportunity to grow. As a result, she began writing her own music. She began performing her songs publicly when her mother said they could help people not be famous with her music, but rather to help those around them see the importance of their work and how they can affect the world. The family did not have any idea until she was fourteen. Aurora has never imagined being a famous singer. Aurora says she loves creating music. For her, music is the only method to experience anything.
